Prayer + Action = Success

Image result for prayer and hard work

Prayer without action is powerless and a road leading nowhere but ruins.

I am not a religious person but I am a believer, not many people can tell the difference. I have nothing against religion; however, there must be a defined line between being religious and being stupid.
Prayers do get answered, I know as I am a living testimony. When you start leaving everything to God to handle while you sit on your bum then that's pure laziness.
Sleeping in the church or mosque doesn't make you a righteous person neither does that guarantee you a front seat in heaven.
There are no 99 virgins for anyone that blow him or herself up on earth - common sense; you can't find a virgin in your village how much more in the city and now heaven? You can't even ask girls out! It's no rocket science!
Any religion that preaches killing another man is not a religion; if yours do then you need a new religion if necessary.
You don't have to be in a Church or Mosque for your prayers to be heard. Songs, praises, and thanks are all God wants. The traditionalists will sing and drink all night praising their god, the Christians now have hip hop, juju, rnb and afrobeat infused into their choir beats. The Muslims are not left out with their association to Fuji, were, apala and belly dancing.
That's praise and worship which is acceptable but when it comes to your pastor or Imam becoming your daddy, daddy said I mustn't do this, daddy said I mustn't do that and you wonder why your husband is no longer coming home after his day job.
It does feel good to hold on to something for hope but trading off your soul and liberty in exchange is not ideal.
If God can create all these various languages and tribes then I am sure he has a plan in place to understand everyone's yearnings and wants.
Speak to God directly in your dialect and language rather than channeling through some Imam or pastor. I am sure you wouldn't need a 3rd party to speak to your own father.
No doubt prayers work but praying for a job without sending out an application or learning a trade is stupid! You're praying for a college admission but you didn't write the entrance exam or pick up an application form! It's a no brainer son!
You're praying for marriage but can't stand anyone that comes through? Oh ok! You got into your car and it won't start-up and you called your pastor or imam for prayers as your enemies are at play? No, your enemies are on the bus or train to work - you are stranded as a result of your idiotic belief. Someone sensible would call AA or a mechanic rather than your leader who is probably having a laugh!

Be free or be in bondage - the choice is yours!

She is the first child of the house and this comes with a lot of challenges as she is practically the mother to her siblings and sees to their wellbeing day in – day out. My Journey – My Sacrifices.

My Journey – My Sacrifices. Every time you embark on bringing a desire to reality, a journey lifecycle is born and for this journey path to end as you wish, it is paramount and inevitable to make sacrifices along the line! People of faith, either as Christians, Muslims or traditionalists would understand and agree that the practice of sacrifices to God and gods is a necessity. And all these sacrifices can come up in various ways in our daily path which includes but not limited to the following: Anger:  This enemy of progress is not in any form in your way to make things easy but to complicate your journey.  Anger is a normal human emotion and it’s healthy, it’s only a problem when you as human allow the anger to control you rather than you in control. So it’s always wise to control the anger before it controls you – controlling things that switch on your anger before it develops is a sacrifice that must be made to continue your journey. It’s not easy but it’s not impos

The Story Of Two Friends – Ade & Emeka And Their Quest For Success.

The Story Of Two Friends – Ade & Emeka And Their Quest For Success. Both Ade and Emeka were born in the digital age i.e. in the 90’s! Those who were born before this period had to go extra miles in achieving their aims in life, access to data and information were very limited and technology wasn’t advanced enough to aid individual desires – that is not the same for the 90’s kids. They both attended same high school and were neighbours in Rukuba Barracks in Jos where their fathers are stationed as soldiers serving the nation. Emeka’s father was transferred over to Jos from Enugu and Ade’s father was transferred to Jos from Lagos, the boys were very young when they had to move to Jos with their parents. It was so quick and easy for them to form friendship; they are not just neighbours but newbies and non-locals in the barrack where majority of the soldiers are local men from Lanagtang, Wase, Jos, Pankshin, Barkin Ladi, Shendam, Mangu etc. within the state. As they
