YOUR SMARTPHONE_YOUR OFFICE AND EVERYTHING

I remember back in the days of Blackberry! Met a man in Barking on the east of London asking for the nearest Internet cafe. I was heading to the Internet/phone shop owned by my friend to pick up a charger, so I asked him to follow me. On the way - we started a chat and I noticed he had a Blackberry Bold or something! I asked him out of curiosity on why is he going to the cafe? To print or scan a doc? He answered as below!! “To check my email” Dude was only using his blackberry for messenger and calls! Many are sitting on this table in this day and age! There is practically nothing you can’t do with your phone these days. You no longer need to visit banks You no longer need to visit a travel agency You no longer need to pick groceries You can be diagnosed with your phone You no longer need to pick up your take away You can attend classes on your phone You can acquire skills free You don’t have to call a taxi company  You can have your remote co

Being Smart VS Good Grades

Did you know for a fact that majority of those who were brilliant in high school or university were not favoured by the society after school? They were the best in school but it all ended there. What exactly happened to them? They failed to be smart but counting on the grades. The real world is very different and the reality out here can be very shocking to any all A student. High Grades are amazing but street knowledge is an added advantage and bonus. Study the books but don’t leave the street behind. # knowledge # beyondclassrooms

Ten “Crack/Business” Commandments by Notorious B.I.G.

Letter from the dead to entrepreneurs and business minded fellas. Ten “Crack/Business” Commandments by Notorious B.I.G. Focus on the translation and not the original lyrics. Not promoting drugs, violence or lewd words but seeing and extracting positive vibes out of negativity to better humanity. - Rule Number Uno “Never let no one know how much dough you hold cause you know the cheddar breed jealousy 'specially If that man fucked up”- It’s not smart to let others know how well you are doing, people do get jealous especially when they are not doing well for themselves - Numero Due “Never let them know your next move, don't you know Bad Boys move in silence and violence? Take it from your highness” - Keep your plan to yourself, discussing with others is asking them to derail you and possibly harm you - Numero Tre “Never trust no-bo-dy Your moms'll set that ass up” - Trust nobody, not even your mother - Numero Quattro - “I know you heard

The African Approach to Education and its effects vs The Western Approach

The African Approach to Education and its effects vs The Western Approach As you read this piece, I have absolutely nothing against securing certificates - I have several of them myself. There is nothing wrong in chasing certificates, but a lot is wrong when you refused to get educated along the line and ignore local factors in the process. Obviously if you can afford the expensive pursuit then that’s acceptable. However, many are paying through their nose to get these certificates at the expense of chasing their passion and building a career out of it. I work in the finance sector and in the last decade, my direct managers have been between the ages of 26 to 35. In most cases, I am older and wherever I have an older boss, they have been in that position for a long period of time.  This is what is happening in the west, people are getting on the ladder of workforce immediately after high school or college and in the process, they are building a massive network earl

An Unfortunate Story Of A Young Man.

The young man below sent this story of his to one of my platforms this morning and requested it to be published so the world can hear his cry and frustration! This generation is crying out but no one is listening!! He is one man out of millions with no direction and just in need of an opportunity! 👇🏾 👇🏾 👇🏾 👇🏾 Good morning Positive outreach, I hope your weekend went as blissfully as it should be? Well, I have a story to tell and I want it to be published so people out there would know the gravity of how badly the youths are being treated in this green white and green country.. And if my story and life can pave the way out for others, then I would gladly lay down my life. I am Teddy Asibor, I am from Edo state, the first child from loving parents that did the all they could to give me the best. I studied civil engineering in a state polytechnic in Delta state, and came out with upper credit in Both ND and HND degree. I graduated 2014 but I couldn't serve w

How Not To Start A Conversation On Social Media!

How not to start a conversation on Social Media! “Hello” as a stand-alone! Wrong, except if you know each other one on one! Or sending a reminder on a previous arranged appointment! “Hi”, “Hey”, “Sup”, etc! Without accompanying the salutation with the reason of messaging is a guaranteed way of not getting a response! Multiple, constant and persistent messaging without waiting for a response to your previous message is an harassment, it won’t make a difference if the person didn’t see your previous message! Sending another is a no no! Forwarding unrelated, useless and meaningless chain messages like prayers, funny stories or even at worst scaremongering messages to all your contacts is showing you are not educated, you have too much time on your hands or just naive. You are asking to be deleted! Whatever you share online is relating to your brand and you are validating it! So, read before clicking that share button! Don’t hurt your brand with your negligence! “Hello T

The Story Of Two Friends – Ade & Emeka And Their Quest For Success.

The Story Of Two Friends – Ade & Emeka And Their Quest For Success. Both Ade and Emeka were born in the digital age i.e. in the 90’s! Those who were born before this period had to go extra miles in achieving their aims in life, access to data and information were very limited and technology wasn’t advanced enough to aid individual desires – that is not the same for the 90’s kids. They both attended same high school and were neighbours in Rukuba Barracks in Jos where their fathers are stationed as soldiers serving the nation. Emeka’s father was transferred over to Jos from Enugu and Ade’s father was transferred to Jos from Lagos, the boys were very young when they had to move to Jos with their parents. It was so quick and easy for them to form friendship; they are not just neighbours but newbies and non-locals in the barrack where majority of the soldiers are local men from Lanagtang, Wase, Jos, Pankshin, Barkin Ladi, Shendam, Mangu etc. within the state. As they
